A while back there was a discussion about drymounting and grumblies getting under the image and causing a bump. When I was at the WCAF show I saw Ken from Kool Tack using this tool http://www.drytac.com/drs-roller.html, but at you can see it carries a pretty steep price tag with it. Over the weekend I was channel surfing and came across the following.

I think this might be similar and much cheaper then the drytac tool. If you're interested the website is https://www.schticky.com/
Total cost would be $33.85 including all the shipping and handling charges.

A word of caution / perhaps with both products but certainly for the DRS product: [TABLE="class: data-table"]

I wasn't thinking as much for rolling the face as much as I was thinking about the print backs and the mount board itself. I could see it lifting the image from a photo print as it is just ink sitting on top of the paper.

That pitchman has quite a schtick going there with the wall-to-wall double entendres. Still, it looks like a handy tool.

P.S. It bugs me when they make an offer at a seemingly low price and then tack on hefty shipping and handling charges.

I was also thinking this would be great on suede mats.

You can get it for half of that at Amazon! But though it works great on fabric, it will lift the surface paper right off of a board. Go ahead, ask me how I know.

It has way too much tack for using on paper. But the Drytac product really works. I think it is pricey too, but worth it.

If this is an occasional use need, how about good old "inside-out-masking-tape" lint rollers?
