Marc,I know what Scherenschinitte is and I assume The others are some form of the same technique.
But are these works your designs and hand work? Could you give a little more information ? The Pics. are great but they need some explanation.

scherenschnitte (the germans and the swiss)
wycinanki (poland)
knippen (the dutch)

Yes, I did them (some are in progress). But they are stricly ameteur hour (not been for sale). I put the one foot ruler for scale, and the razor is for scale too. The chair one is a "mizrach". The one with the fence is a "Shiviti", and the photo on it's side is the blessing over the candles. And the one with the 2 birds in the trees was a birthday card to my grandma, it got retuned because of 'time sensitve issues'. The others have not been ascribed functions yet.

I assume Cutting Edge who describes themselves as a Judaic Artist might like to see them. And might be a paper cutter themselves: hence cutting edge. I posted to the whole board because there was no e-mail for them.

Sorry to clutter or confuse the board.

Marc no need to apologize ( Your begining to sound like me). These pics are by no means CLUTER .I am truely impressed with the work .I just wanted to know who to give credit to.
Also thanks for passing along the definitions that I didn't know.

Thanks for sharing! I have done some Scherenschnitte in the past, and can appreciate all the hours of work. Keep it up!

Obviously I'm not understanding once again.I thought that this work was a form of paper cutting.
Marc did you cut these in mats?If so this is especially magnificent work. Cutting Paper is hard enough ,then these designs are harder yet ,Butif these are mats ,There are unbeliveble.
