Scarlott O'Hara

Does it have to be a primary blue or would you tolerate a little green in there? How 'bout a touch of violet?

Thanks for reminding me why I no longer inventory or special-order prints. I assume a customer is looking for this.

If you yourself are looking for a print of Scarlet O'Hara in a blue dress, I apologize for my rudesness, Susan.

Susan,

How about this? Scan a picture of Scarlet in whatever color dress into your computer at the highest resolution you can handle, pop her into PhotoShop and change her dress color to whatever color of blue your customer wishes, and have it printed out on a wide format printer?? (I have to place a disclaimer in here for any copyrights that are attached to the Scarlet O'Hara images!)

Frankly Susan I'd help you find it but I just don't give a d@mn. Somebody had to say it, may as well have been me.

I am on cold medicine, it has rendered me useless, I need to go home, but I feel badly because I didn't get anything done all day. Please forgive me. Before you know it I will crawl back into the night.

Hot chicken soup, Kathy. Try hot chicken soup.

Or maybe hot turkey soup at this time of the year.

Thanks Tom, I've had some. I don't want to say I believe in forshadowing or anything but I decided on Friday to eat a packet of chicken noodle soup(cooked of course, not straight out of the packet). Anyway, I remember thinking to myself that I never eat that stuff unless I am sick. Sure enough by saturday I had that sore throat thing going on. I ignored it and went out Saturday night. I ignored it even further and brought a friend up to my brother and sister-in-law's cabin saturday night.(Who am I kidding, it is a mountain home, it has vaulted ceilings) I continued to ignore it all Sunday until I came down off the mountain. So here I am now sick as a dog. I can't help but wonder if I hadn't eaten that soup to begin with..........

Sorry Susan, I have warped your thread.

I don't mind the warps, or even the smart a**es. After all, somebody's got to do the job. I just need a source for Scarlett O'Hara in a blue dress. No, not the green one that Carol Burnett wore with the curtain rod sticking off each shoulder. This is a blue dress. I've seen one copy of this print. It belonged to another customer. Now, I need another one, and the other one is long gone, along with the lady who owned it.

P.S. Kathy, I hope that you're feeling much better real soon. This is a very bad time of year to be sick. My Mother's got the same thing, and she's to fly tomorrow to visit the siblings in Michigan.

Is that really it?
If that really is it well then pardon me, I don't feel so bad warping this thread..........

Susan,
Might try Somerset House and Art by Jeffery Barson there is about 4 different ones however I can't tell if any of them are actually Blue dresses since the red has left my monitor.

Kathy:

My all time favorite cold cure: 2 oz of good gin and 10oz orange juice, ice cubes and a few pillows. It will not cure your cold, flue, whatever, but you will not care. If one does not due it have two of them.

These folks(http://www.scarlettsecret.com/scarletsecret-1.htm) are a little over the top, aren't they??? Unfortunately, or, perhaps, fortunately, that is not the correct dress.

Jerry, do either of those have a web site, and do you have them, or their phone numbers? I don't have their catalogs. I can probably get the numbers from the PFM Directory, but would like to see a web site, if there is one. Thanks!

As for all you other Frankenthreaders...

Susan, have you tried The Marks Collection? 800-849-3125 They are in Kennesaw, Ga. http://www.markscollection.com

They have gobs of Civil War (excuse me, The War of Northern Aggression) art as well as Gone With the Wind stuff.

Thanks, All. I've come to the conclusion that the specific print that this lady wants is out of print. She'll have to find it at an antique shop or something similar. I looked on all of the sites that you all recommended, and a bunch more besides. No one has it, hence the assumption that it's out of print. I've seen it once before, and it was from someone who purchased it at an antique store. I'll let her know.
