I have a customer who wants a frame for either side of a framed painting. It needs to be about 18" or so high and 8-9" wide. She would like a scalloped top or a sort of trapezoid shape with the top slanting down towards the outer edge. Whe frame on the oil painting is black with a sort of mottled silver (black spots)... it's more of a grayish silver. Since I use a framesquare saw with a fixed fence and a vn2 + 1 with a fixed fence, I have limited options for making the trapezoid myself. Does anyone know of any outlests for scalloped or un-square frames?

can you post a picture of the piece? Is the canvas square, and the pediment an extra? Or is the canvas polygonal?

The canvas is square. She wants two mirrors, one on either side of the canvas, polygon shaped or scalloped at the top.
