We have the Phaedra saw support system which has a metal plate backing on the right side...not left.

We need to chop a ROMA #6753 (3 3/4" capped design with a curved backing. Yes, we could have/?should have ordered chopped.....but I'm sure this is workable.

Just wondered if anyone has any tricks up their sleeves. We've discussed butting a long and tall piece of wood behind it when cutting, as one possibility.

THANKS!

I had this problem with a similar Roma # 60545.
What I did was cut 8 pieces about 6 to 8 inches long of some flat top straight sided molding I had around. I screwed these to the bottom of the Roma even with the rabbit. I could then use the square molding against the fence of the saw and sander and be able to clamp them in a corner vice for gluing. Hope this helps worked for me.
Save the pieces.
