:( I just got a phone call from a customer letting me know that one of my very favorite customers was killed in a motorcycle wreck in Myrtle Beach last night. He was only about 40 years old.

Who knew you could get so close to your customers.

I still have his two boys Silhouettes here in the shop framed waiting for pick up.

My heart hurts for those boys!

It really changes your whole outlook. I just received a payment on a new commercial job and couldn't even get excited about it.

I'm just sick. :(

Please pray for his 2 boys, they are 5 and 8 years old.

Oh, Jennifer, I'm so sorry! Such a young man and family! They're definitely in my prayers, and you are, too.

Jennifer,
My prayers are with them.

It's wise to take tragedy and learn something from it. It's not difficult to do in this situation. Perhaps it just might save a life!!

Blessings.

Jennifer,

That is so sad. I will keep the family in my prayers.

How tough will that be to deliver/hand over the items he had framed. Be strong.

Jennifer...
That is so sad...I feel for you and those boys. My thoughts are with you...

Thank you all,

I do dread seeing the mother and handing those silhouettes over.

I wanted to go to the service but it is in Mississippi. (He's not from here)

I'm still in shock, Thank you for your prayers.

Almost any framer who has been in business for 5 or more years can tell stories about how our customers affect us.

Sorry for your loss Jennifer. And to have work in when it happens makes it doubly close to home.

Jennifer, what a heartbreaking situation. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your customer's family. I completely understand how you can become so close to some of your customers.

My son (17 years old) keeps saying he's going to buy a motorcycle some day. This tragedy, in my books, is yet another reason why I don't want him to.

Jennifer,
It is indeed a difficult time when you lose a dear customer you have grown close to. My heart goes out to you and his young family.

We too, in the last 6 months have lost 2 of our most favorite customers and they will be greatly missed.

Hugs,
Lori
