I recently had two sticks of the blue 2 1/2"W. Galleria moulding come in with a marked difference in levels of pigment from one to the other. To blend the colors to match each other, I used 99% isopropyl alcohol on a 0000 steel wool pad. This is enough of a solvent to move the pigment around to lighten and darken apropriately. Afterward I sprayed it with Deft satin wood finish lacquer. It worked great!
