Opinions Wanted Rhoplex N580

I have a piece of art on frosted Mylar to hinge mount. The artist sent very specific instuctions on using Rhoplex N580 to make small attachments at the upper corners to a Sintra mount board. I have read the information on this product and I would like some feedback on its appropriate use in this instance.

When artists design display techniques, they should understand what they are asking for. All acrylic dispersions include a significant loading of surfactant, to get the plastic dispersed in water and that surfactant comes to the surface for two weeks, after the dispersion is dry to the touch. It can be washed off, but no one is completely sure what its presence entails. Sintra is PVC and its chloirne component makes it a problematic choice for preservation. The 580 could be replaced with Lascaux, since they should have similar characteristics and the Lascaux is a co-polymer, which lessens the need for additives.

Both Lascaux 360 and 498 exhibit pressure-sensitive adhesion, but 360 seem to have more of that capacity.
