My last post was about a virus that took out my program Mat Designer.
All that is taken care of and I'm back to using the program again.
I have a feeling something is out of whack mechanical wise though.

My new issue is tha the Wizard 8000 is not cutting all the way across and not over cutting at the corners. So a little bit of the corner is still there which I have to pop out and it leaves a tiny little bit of the mat. The cut is deep enough but just for that tiny corner it doesn't cut overlapping. What can I do about that? Anyone have that problem? Is it something I can correct with software of is a mechanical problem? Any help would be very appreciated. I haven't called Wizard yet but will soon.

Sounds like you need to reset all the parameters for start/stop points etc. etc. Definitely call the tech support folks at Wizard, and they can talk you through it. It isn't as hard as it sounds.
Then you should be good to go. Definitely sounds like a software issue, and "the trouble is not in your set".

If you reinstalled the Wizard software, you probably have to redo your Config file, unless you have a back-up of the original factory Config file that was custom set for your machine (it isn't on the CD). When my computer power supply failed, I put the hard drive in an external USB box and recovered the original settings to use in my new computer.

A lesson for all - backup your settings as well as your mat designs.

Lesson learned!
Well Wizard came through again, reset my setting over the phone and all is well. All the names of the mats ie., cc bb fabric or suede depths were missing, so we typed them all in. Thanks Ken and Brian at Wizard.
Elizabeth at the Wizard told me how to reinstal the old saved mats into the new mats forlder. Yea!

Thanks to all at the grumble! Merry Xmas
