Every once and a while the Boss impresses the h*ll out of me. A Mother whose Son was killed in the line of Duty in Afghanistan came in looking to have some pieces framed and the boss really put his heart and soul into the projects. I was updating our webpage this week and I decided to place a Remembrance Day Tribute on the page and utilized a photo of one of the pieces. The next day I recieved this email:

Thank you so much for the wonderful tribute you have given Joel by hosting his picture in honour of Remembrance Day. It means so much to see he won’t be forgotten and that he and the others, past and present, are honoured!
The frames are our treasures that will be passed down to my children and their children. Once we’re all gone, they are being bequeathed to Canada’s War Museum.
Thank you once again. Words can not possibly convey how I feel about the work you did and the dignity in which it is presented.

Remembrance day is November 11th here in Canada. Have a look at the pieces but more importantly though take the time to learn more about Joel Vincent Wiebe and the sacrifice he made by visiting the link below.
