Refurbished Hypercom credit card machine

When I bought this business I signed a sub lease for the remaining 3 years of the Hypercom terminal lease. I paid over $1700 for 3 years of use. Ouch! I thought this day would never come. I can now purchase my own terminal. Has anyone purchased a refurbished machine? Any comments?

Most of the ones on Ebay for a couple hundred are factory refurbished. That's where we got ours. You'd never know it. They're factory sealed with new cases and plastic on the display, etc. We have bought a few of these.

When you send yours in for service, this is what they send back in most cases.

we bought our 2nd (back up) hypercom unit on ebay about 4 years ago and it has worked like a charm.

Think I paid around 200 for a T7P

I use Hypercom in the old store, the new store I bought a VeriFone Omni3200 for $279 brand new 2 years ago. I like it much better. Cheap, easy, does a great job.
