A customer of mine has come in and shown an interest in doing a number of canvas transfer posters. I've seen ads for alot of different companies around but would like to ask "the masses" their opinion on which they think are the best. This is a good customer and I would hate to disappoint them. Thanks for your help.

I used to be a big fan of Old Grange Graphics until, after having an account for more than 8 years, they decided that they wanted money up front before they would process any order. And the last order was less than satisfactory; I had to send it back for revision.

But, as far as I can tell, they are pretty much the only game in town. A lot of places do canvas transfers, but only with their own art. Most will not process a print or poster that you wish to supply.

If you are in New England, are you a DonMar customer? I have been very happy with the transfers I've gotten through them and their MES program.

I use FRAME IT and COMPANY in NYC.

They have many commonly used publishers (35 of them I think) and their prices are about the same as Liebermans for the prints.

They do gel strokes and even suply the stretcher bars cut to size.

Fast turnaround time as well.

I have been mounting prints on foamcore using a canvas striated laminate for years and it looks just like a canvas reproduction. I have one hanging at home that was done over 7 yrs ago and still looks just like it did the day I framed it.
I clean it several times a year with a soft damp cloth. A great alternative to canvas repro's. Most customers think it is a canvas. It is sold as a print, mounted on foamcore with a plastic laminate covering.

has any one herd of Danashe in mass.?

We have been very happy with Art and Framing out of New Mexico, 1-800-530-8680

I just sent two prints to Haddads; their prices were better than Old Grange Graphics. This is my first attempt, also. Angie, at Haddads was very helpful over the phone providing information I needed.
