Do any grumblers recognize this frame sticker? My customer purchased this frame as is from a garage sale. I am just curious as to where this frame shop is located. I Googled it, but did not find any info.

Framed by George Guthries in the Gainsburro store. He was a one eyed framer hired as Christmas help back in 1991. Had a bad habit of always putting the sticker on just a little crooked. :D

OK, next story . . .

Had to go check what I call my "scalp" wall. This consists of all stickers taken off jobs coming in for a fix, redux or just a general complete overhaul due to screw-ups by other so-called "professionals". This wall has been a posting place since 1976. Sorry, no Zaks there.

My grandpa was a one eyed framer... lost his eye cleaning fish as a teenager.

I still have his glass eye...

:smileyshot22:

He has the eye, he just has to find it!

Last I heard it was in the coffee can with the marbles. A couple of cart's eyes and a few big shooters in that can. Can't figure out which shooter is the real eye!

Dang it, Baer, you had me!! I thought "Cool! Someone knows who framed this!"! (I even read your response twice before I realized it was Baers' reply and therefore just a leg pullin'. :icon21:

Maybe the scent of all the Nor Cal Whoopie Pies has affected by brain!

Stickers

We save them and call it the wall of shame, if the framing is a real stinker we note the problems of the framing.

Thats funny, I thought I was a little weird for saving all the stickers off frame jobs that come in, but now I dont feel so strange since evidently lots of others do it
