1. great classes - not good classes, GREAT ones
2. networking
3. lots of good food (courtesy of PPFA)
4. Door prize was $10,000 won by a FRAMER - from Appleton, WI. No, it wasn't Ron so don't be asking him for a loan.
5. trade show was mind boggling
6. I'm sure there's lots more but we left at 4 AM this morning and zzzzzzzzz

Next year's PMA show is in Orlando. Add $1 to each ticket's fitting charge for your travel fund! Oh yeah, I learned how to play craps - and actually came out ahead. :D

Mary Ann,
How was the trip through the Airport Security?

Did anybody miss their flights?

I didn't miss mine, almost had a heart attack running to the gate, but I didn't miss the flight.

We spent 40 minutes in line, but left with plenty of time. So, no problem

This was the best convention ever. Got to meet the Shirk's finally and saw so many old friends and made some new ones.

Got assigned by Nona Powers as Cruise Director for the FACTS Cruise (Boy,did I sit at the wrong table).

Swap a few lousy jokes with Jerry and had great classes. Good crowds and very attentive attendees. Even got to meet Lance fron New Zealand

All in all, a great event. Many people were commenting about the low package price for education-a great concept

Great classes, without doubt. The networking was brilliant, although I was a bit pushed for time at stages.
Bob, you must have got a short line, I arrived 2 1/2 hours before my flight and only just made it to the plane. The flight I was on had many empty seats and was apparently fully booked, I guess that many were still standing in the lines of ineffiency. LA airport was running smoothly and only took about 30 mins to get through for the 13 hour flight home!
I met many who read the Grumble as a regular habit, and also attended a couple of PPFA classes which I was very impressed with. It turns out that Bob and I do things in an almost identical fashion!!! Jim taught me more than I could have expected about Clear film mounting.
The show itself was very intense with product available that would likely to never make it into our market, thats going to change!
In all, my trip was definitly worthwhile but my pocket is considerably lighter after a little stint of machinery purchases...

Jerry,
We were in good shape for our flight since we got to the airport soooo early (4:30 AM). Checked in with no problem, waited in the security line about 10-15 minutes but as we got to the top of the line, I noticed that the line had grown to about two blocks long. I wondered how bad it got as the day went on.
It was great meeting everyone. Looking forward to Orlando. Very tough coming back to twenty degree weather.
