SPFG, Supreme Picture Framing God
I've just finished this frame. Original painting, rather weird but nicely done.
I was quite uncertain on how to tackle it but I went with an idea and this is how it turned out.
I'm quite pleased with it.
2" liner painted off-white.
Center panel base-coated with black gesso and finger-textured. Covered with gilt varnish and
rubbed back. Sort of beaten bronze effect. Edged with two angular mouldings that I have had for years. These look black but are very very very dark blue.
