I like it, nothing spectacular about the job, but it sure made me feel good to give it to the mom, kind of pops out of the frame:

Nice!

I find framing children's artwork to be especially rewarding. It is fun to do and makes the parents happy but most importantly, it really build the self esteem in the child. Sparks of creativity ignite and appreciation for framing has been planted in that youngster.

j Paul said it all.

Nice presentation!

What the picture does not show well is how warped and cockled the paper is. Over an inch out of flat. A real challenge to mount, I built up a couple of spots behind it for support. Very little of the art actually rests on the backing matboard. I essentially dropped the picture on my work surface, it landed on an angle, so that is how I presented it. The child gave this piece to Dad as a fathers day gift, mom made sure it did not get stuck in a drawer.

Thanks for the comments

James
