Hi All, I'm new here and to framing, so I am looking for some recommendations. I'm framing some large photographs that have been mounted onto Dibond. and I want to frame them like a painting, a float frame (no Glass is needed, new paper stock). I have seen a framer use a double-sided tape to fix the Dibond to the rear wooden cross support. Has anyone done this before, and what double-sided tape would you recommend? Perhaps a 3M VHB Tape?

3M's VHB is exactly what you want.
Art on paper is very susceptible to damage from the environment.
Unless the piece has a protective coating, someone talking next to it can cause damage.

Welcome to the G

What do you mean glass is not needed because it is new paper stock?
Hi Ylva, I'm a visual artist working in photography, and many of us are moving away from the traditional inkjet paper stocks and using an eco-solvent print. It's new tech for printing photographic images (it's been around for a while and getting more popular), it's still an inkjet print, but in the final stage, the paper goes over a hot roller and is sealed, which means it can be cleaned, it is waterproof, and still maintains its archival state.

Thank you. I'll check the products out.
