It was suggested to me to use Rare Earth magnets to hold two frames together. Can anyone tell me the specific name of the ones that they have used for this? I looked at their website and with all the choices I'm lost.

Go to Edmund Scientific website. They have different types and sizes.

Cobalt magnets are the type I have used to float a sword in a shadowbox frame.

Old hard drive. Very powerful magnets inside. The magnets usually have holes on each side so you may fasten them to the frame. Be careful with them. They are a pinching hazard and you may need tools to pry them apart if you stick them together.
