This is not an earth shattering thing, but it is driving me nuts. The other day I was online (here of course) and was going to a link that someone had posted, something on the G, but I forget what now. Everything froze so I did control/alt/delete to end task. I expected it to just close Compuserve, but it only closed the grumble, and it changed my toolbar on the bottom of my screen. I closed out of CS, did a restart and the toolbar was fine. (Still is fine). But when I went back online, all the screens and fonts are smaller! (They still take up the whole computer screen, but, I guess with more space around the words.)

Now, as I notice this screen, it is normal,(the posting screen, not the viewing screen) but the regular forum screens and any other site I visit, is smaller. Why? Any ideas?

I'm sure I'll get used to this look, but it's so different from the computer at home that it's just "quirky"!

Betty,
You may want to try to adjust the font size. Go to the menu bar and click on View. Select Text Size and you can select any font size you wish.
Don't know if this will help.

Betty,

That is really odd because I had the exact same thing happen on Monday while writing up a post for the Grumble. I went to delete something that I had written and the screen froze. I did a 3 key back out also and disconnected from the Grumble. When I logged back on the fonts were in the "large" mode!

Carol is right of course, you can go to view, text size, and set your fonts back to medium or whatever you normally use.

But that is really wierd! (You don't suppose those strange lights I saw in the sky that evening were ............................. Naaaah!!)

On Compuserve, I don't have a "view" button. I don't have a clue how to change font size.

Cathie e-mailed me and said something that sparked an idea. Since I use Compuserve, I didn't think Internet Explorer would have anything to do with the CS screen. But the fonts were driving me nuts, so I opened IE and changed the font size there, closed it and went back to CS. Sure enough, everything is fine now!

Oh well, ya never know about these machines!

Yup, Betty, that's what I was talking about. Only I didn't realize that you were on CS. You need the IE active toolbar showing to change those little critters into big cows!
