Last Spring we gave up Virtual Gallery in favor of Lieberman's CD (or DVD, your choice) program. I like it.
There are trade-offs in everything, I guess.
Lieberman's has 100,000+ images, 3 or 4 times more than the Virtual Gallery had when we gave it up. However, Lieberman's program has smaller images, and is slower to load a big selection of images from the topic index.
Virtual Gallery is more user-friendly, especially for customer browsing. You can have full-screen size images, although low resolution makes some of them look fuzzy.
Color rendition is about the same in both programs -- not bad, but could be better. A lot of the image limitations are due to poor images being provided by the publishers. So, Lieberman's smaller images actually look better than they would in full-screen, but with less detail.
Lieberman's costs $100 for the first one, then $75 for each quarterly renewal you choose to buy. Virtual Gallery was a subscription of more than $50 per month, with quarterly update disks, which were always late.
I have the latest one, and will buy every new one that comes out, ASAP.
For a piddling $75, why not have the latest and avoid selling any more sold-out prints than necessary? No selection is completely free of sold-outs, but they catch most of them when they add in the new prints.
