Past promotions have included 10% off.
Poster special: mount,glass,frame
Precious Child Art
Second mat free
I was just wondering if anyone out there had someting new or different.

What about a 20$ gift Certificate on anything over $100.00. They feel like they are getting something big and yet you are only giving 20% off if they only spend the hundred. The more they spend, the less the discount.

Make it with your Logo, and very high end. ;)

I like Jennifer's idea...for exactly $100 it is $20, but after that it is still $20. Does anyone still do alot under $100? It is also something to make them coming back-so it helps now and later, good idea. I would put a time limit on the coupon or gift card say a year or six months. I like six months better, just before Christmas time. Then you can send a reminder at that time-use it before you loose it!!!

Our best ongoing program (which I have no doubt mentioned before, but I don't remember... what else is new?) is a coupon targeted to the individual customer. Basically they are getting 5% back. The floor is a $200 order. They get a card (business size printed on my computer with Publisher) for $10 off any purchase. No expiration, no restriction. It goes up from there. It is amazing how many people read a $30 card as 30% off. And they do come back... all the time. I keep these people in a separate database and mail a $20 coupon to them in August. This is less effective, surprisingly, than the thank you cards.

We have just purchased a Wizard Mat and everyone is telling us to promote that as well! Has anyone done anything create in this respect as well?

Our best promotion has been Child Art.
We select 7 -10 color metal frames and complimentary mats and provide an entire package (frame, mat, mounting and glass) for $30.00 to $80.00. This year I have been sending a flyer to the local pre schools, day care, and art teachers announcing I would make a $5.00 donation to the program of their choice for each order received. Just started this so I have only received 1 back.
The program that was a bust was the second mat free. Very little responce didn't bring existing
customers through the door.
I was thinking about offering the $20.00 off as gift certificate. Has any one already invented this wheel with art work and such that I could rent.

Just got a post card in the mail today from a framer I used to do business with. 20% off anything over %100.
