Hey everyone me again :)

I was just wondering if anyone has promoted their Visualization Software? If so how have you done it? and has it been effective? We are looking at doing it on our next ad. Thanks!

Justin Alvarez

We did it with an ad in the paper that was written like a news article. Several people commented on the "story" and it brought in business. Now it is just another tool, and the novelty has worn off. I need a new toy....

I did. I got postcards made up, one side full color an assortment of mouldings and framed art on the wall, the back was a B&W shot of me at my design counter demonstrating IF with the caption, "See your art framed in a variety of designs using our digital visualization software"
I'll mail them out this month.

I listen to a gardening show on the radio in the mornings. The owner of this nursery mentioned their cool imaging software to help you design your landscape. I only remember this because of the obvious parallel. He didn't belabor the point and it’s a good thing because if you're not looking to redo your landscaping, you wouldn't be the slightest bit impressed with this software. What he, very wisely, did do was create the need for landscaping!

I can't imagine putting resources into something that won't create any demand being very helpful. Like Ellen said it’s just a tool and you wouldn’t promote your underpinner.

Keep in mind that I have almost no use at all for ANY mass advertising.

Carry on.

I've promoted the IF in every advertisment I do. From newspaper ads, direct marketing postcards and my telephone book ad.

My best advertisement has been word of mouth. Once people see it they tell everyone about it. I had a woman just this morning come in to pick up her picture, she brought her husband in so that I could show him how it worked and he decided to go back to the office and tell the people there. Sure enough I had his boss and a receptionist from his office come in to have something framed on their lunch hour. And when you can show them all the diffent types of corners that can be cut to enhance the art, it adds more money in my pocket. It's the visualization wow factor!!

I also advertise that I am the first in my town and surrounding counties to have this technology.

We have promoted it successfully in our Cable TV spot in the past. We are getting ready to do another 3 month run starting in June and we our revamping our spot but will still be featuring IF as we continue to be the only one in our area to have an visualization program.

We have also done so with oversized postcards. There are pictures of them in the archives, if you do a search.

Great Integrated Framer Day / IF freeze

Integrated Framer promoted itself today. One customer was shown her design on IF, so then another wanted to see hers, and then another....LOL.
We had a late rush of business and they all came to the shop at once so they had to line up for the camera. My customer was insisting upon a 1.5" mat with a 2" frame. When I got her design on the screen and presented the side by side comparison with a 3 and 3.5" mat, she said, "That's why I come here so the experts can tell me what to do."

I love this program! (It did freeze today during very slow zoom....Wizard Fix This Please!)
