The user's that are affected that are using an old ID, please email me with
1. The user name you want to use.
2. The number of posts that you have had.
3. Current ID and password being used.

If you don't have an old user ID please register again and email me.

1. Number of posts that you had.
2. Your new user ID and current password.

I can then fix your profiles.

Framer, I tried under my old ID/password. Told me someone was already registered under that name. I have re-registered as my present ID, and it works fine. I will get Janet to try when she gets home, but she has also re-registered and is having no problems that I know of.

Sure am glad you're back. Thought it was a communist plot. Tried to reach Senator McCarthy in a seance...

framer, I tried to post under my old ID/password, but it wouldn't let me. Rats! I had gotten to 100 posts, too. Now I'm just a Learning Member. But...The Grumble is BACK .

framer, You have made my day! I have my posts back. I don't know if you read the real Woodsy's post under the weekend thread, but I ended up being sent her ID and password when I couldn't get in, no way, no how. She might need to be reset.

I am happy being CharlesL, but if you need me to change anything, let me know and I will. Can you 'erase' all the old tries I made to log in? Again, if you need me to do anything, let me know.

I'm trying this again, couldn't post this am. I've had no trouble with pass word etc. The losts posts are probably the ones we were doing friday night. Only one post at a time would appear and then another forum would be blank. I do believe a plot but not sure by whom!
 
It may not be over yet. I've yet to hear from the server people. After I emailed them I was able to fix a few things. If they did something I don't know. What I think was going on was the hard drive device on the server got full. When it opens a file and tried to update something, it failed and kill the open file. I hope to know by the am.

A few users were recovered from backup. If you feel the post number is off please email me with what you think your number should be. This only effected 8 users out of 1200 and is not a big deal.

If it makes your life easier, I don't care how many posts I already had. I'll start again as a "Learner". After all, I am still a learner. I did post a new thread last night regarding a very successful promo we did this past weekend and that is no longer on the topic posts. Did the site shut down at some point again today or last night?

Yes! I fix it this morning and it went down an hour later. I'm hoping the worst is past.
