Is anyone else having trouble with Bainbridge Speedmount? We have been using it for about 9 months and have had two mounts come back in the last week that are lifting from the board. We have our press set at the recommended temperature and leave it in the recommended time. We are noticing inconsistency with the amount of adhesive on the board when you run your hand over it and think this may be contributing to the problem. Any thoughts anyone?

We haven't seen any problems within the past few years that were not caused in-house. The latest boxes of Speedmount has the adhesive applied in a much finer, more consistent manner and is more agressive than the product received 6 months ago.

Most of our In-house problems have been caused by not pre-drying the piece being mounted, the temperature being too high or incorrect pressure setting of our mechanical press.

Have you checked the temperature using an independent thermometer or sensor. Our experience with mechanical presses is that the actual temperature is much higher than indicated by the press... in one case 50 degrees higher.
