Hello. When a customer wants, NavajoChevron.WCA, ApatcheChevron.WCA, Mailbox.WCA, plus a bunch more, I dread it
. When cutting out NavajoChevron, for example, as the cuts are made, the fine "pointy" spots slightly curl up and the cutter head, when it moves from left to right, up or down, grabs it just enough to ALMOST tear the tiny corners off. I tried cutting with the face up, but it does the same. I tried cutting then "reverse bevel", again, the same problem. The hardest to cut out is almost ALL the "Grooves - CutArt, 1,2,3. The ONLY
chance of cutting the grooves out without small mat pieces jamming between the matboard and the cutter head (which would ruin the mat finish) is to stand there with a blowgun and blow away all the loose pieces when the cutterhead is in is lifted up for a couple of seconds before it plunges back down. OR, which i try NOT to do to often is to STOP the head cutter, click new blade, then remove any pieces that look like they might get jammed.
Suggestions? How can I solve the problems
?
(I have the CMC 8500e. and i set the blade to cut ONLY as deep as necessary.)
Thanks for any info.
