Hi. I have an LG External Super Multi DVD ReWriter GSA-E10L. After sending, for example, "folders" to the LG drive ("L" drive), to burn it to a CD, a window pops up "Insert writable disc to continue." I insert a disk, but it states "No disk on the drive". To get it to work, i go to My Computer and right click the drive, click Properties, open Recording, UNCHECK "Enable CD recording on this drive.", then CHECK it and click Apply. Now it works. But, if i want to make more copies, i have to repeat what i just said each time. How do i get it to always recognize "Enable CD recording on this drive." Thanks for any help.

That's an odd one! Perhaps try putting the blank media in the drive at least a minute before dragging the folders to it, or use a cd burning program such as NERO. Nero probably came with the drive, and may be installed on the computer?

If it still does it, check the properties to see if there is an "Auto Insert Notification" setting, which can be toggled.

I have NERO, but, it is (use to be) a lot easier the other way. Let me know if you find any solution to the problem. There is NO "Auto Insert Notification". I have WinXP. Thanks. :icon19:
