print and open competition - TC Mn

I thought I'd share the images of the print and open print competition held at our Open House the end of April.

The creativity was exciting to see. Unbelievable "out of the box" designs thinking for the print competition.

We are trying to figure out an exhibition format in a bank, or other type of business for 2010 to give "joe public" the opportunity to view what few "joe's" and "jane's" rarely see outside the industry. If anyone has any thoughts on a exhibit - let me know.

Sue, your third place open, although very nicely done, is still a past PRINT for PPFA. Would have sent you a PM or EM, but you have it blocked.

Thanks for the heads up on the PM being blocked. I didn't notice the screening option. Hopefully all is "opened" up again.

I found it very interesting that for the print competition, only one entry was from a storefront framer. Actually, it made me a bit sad to see that.

It will be interesting to see who participate in the PPFA competition next yr for the new NCPPFA!
