I'm a small Ohio frame shop looking to modernize. I've been doing all of my orders on paper for 15 years but want to upgrade. I got a nice PC. a comfortable chair. and Angry Birds. What pricing software do you all use, about how much was it, and do you like it
 
Amy, most people here that use POS software like the one they have for whatever reason. Most have a free download that you can get and try out. I would not get them all at once but maybe play with each for a week. See if it is intuitive for the way you work. The other thing to look at cost wise is the ongoing costs for updates and pricing subscriptions. In any case, it will be well worth the cost what ever it is. IMO a POS is among the 3 major items that I would not start a new shop without. A CMC & an Underpinner are the other 2 if your curious.
