When it works (which is almost never!) it is a blessing. We need a good pricing gun to help us in....well....pricing things! This cheap one I bought is a nightmare!!

Does anybody have a good recommendation for it's replacement? The ones at Staples look like they could be a love/hate relationship too!

I just want the "love".

Help please!

My only experience with pricing guns was in the early 80's in a supermarket. I was fast as lightening with the standard single yellow one that printed on only one line, but the fancier ones with the multiple lines of text and the metal handles just never worked right. Never remembered the names or make as I was assigned my own and always had the #### thing attached to me!

my 2 Monarch Dennison marking guns have worked fine for more that 25 years. The only part replaced has been the ink pads.

Go to a store fixture business - retail store supplier either on line or brick and mortar and don't buy cheap like you did at a stationary store.

here is an example http://www.kencolabel.com/supplies_cat_15.php

The yellow Monarch was the one we used all the time! Easy to fix, easy to load and no hassles. I'd probably want one with 2 lines of text so that I could put on the upc codes of the gallery items.

Monarch from Office Max, Sams etc.

Before you trash your current gun check to see if the labels are made by the gun manufacturer. IF THEY ARE NOT MADE BY THE GUN MANUFACTURER THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR GUN.

Each gun manufacturer makes labels slightly different and every non-working gun I have seen that is not broken worked perfectly with the proper labels.

As long as they are EASY to load. That's very important to the future condition of my SANITY!!

This one (from Harbor Freight) is quickly eroding it.....

I know.......what do you expect from Harbor Freight.......

Lesson learned....again!
