I am giving serious consideration to joining the PPFA. The benefits of membership are I assume greater for US residents. I would welcome the opinions of any other International members or indeed anyone with an opinion.
By the way, I live in Ireland.

I think a significant benifit of PPFA membership is the local chapter gatherings. Vendors, and framers all getting together periodically for training, updating, and "shop talk."

That isn't to say that access to The Online Exchange, the PPFA discounts, the convention, the Members Only newsletter, etc isn't valuable, it is. But, forming a local chapter would make it more valuable!

PPFA is currently running an intro offer of $50 as a "trial" membership - - -
Checked with membership at PMA and they said you could qualify for the "trial" membership.
Just log onto:
http://www.pmai.org/international/united_kingdom/uk_default.htm
and click on "trial membership" it will bring up the registration form for PMA and just select the box "PPFA" for membership type.
