PPFA announces the National Framing Competition for 2002
JACKSON, Mich.—The Professional Picture Framers Association announces the kickoff of the 2002 National Framing Competition for professional picture framers, formerly called the National Print Competition.
Prints for competition framing and contest applications and information will be available beginning February 14, 2002 from PPFA headquarters in Jackson, Michigan or from participating local PPFA Chapters.
Competition entries are first judged at the local chapter level with chapter winners moving up to the national level finals scheduled May 18 – 20, 2002 at the Newmark Conference and Trade Show, Caesars Resort and Conference Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
This year’s print by Washington D.C. photographer Janine Sides is a black- and-white entitled, The Door.
Please contact your local PPFA Chapter after February 14, 2002 for competition materials and details. Prints are also available to PPFA members who have no local chapter through PPFA Headquarters in Jackson, Michigan phone 517 788-8100.
