Ok guys, just looking for some input here. We are doing a job for a childrens hospital on a wall that has a seascape type of mural. The designer we are working with has thought about port holes or something like that as frames. We usually get our oval frames from Presto and they make some circles that big but they are more traditional types of frames.
So if anybody has any ideas either about the port holes or anything else that might sound cool I would love to get some input.

Up here in Portland ME we have antique shop sthat sell portholes. I'd probably look there first and try to use the real McCoy first.

Nothing like the look of brass!

attach some dummy dogs and your there
Are those the kind that try to run out into the street no matter how many times they've been scolded?
But seriously...A sunken treasure salvager once brought in a real brass porthole cover to use as a frame for some underwater photographs he had taken. We cut round mats and glass for him. The thing was surprisingly heavy, but it looked pretty cool.
