I am in a pinch to finish a frame today. Is there a glue that I can buy at Home Depot that will work for a polystrene frame? I have the right stuff coming in from the supplier by Monday, however this customer has been waiting longer then he should have.

Jeff, CYANOACRYLATE glue is the glue of choice for poly mouldings...the basic technique is glue, apply pressure then insert v-nails.

Good luck!

Get model airplane glue from your local hobby shop. PVC glue works as well but takes a long time to set with the polystyrene. I have also used PVA (Mighty Muck) glue with good success.
There are also some who swear by "super glue" but I haven't tried that.

My choice is cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) gel. I like that better than the watery liquid, because if it gets on the moulding's finish, you have to start over.

Unlike using white glue on a wooden frame, be careful not to use so much that it oozes out.
