richm,
The total membership at present is about 2257 members.
Of those members, over 1160 have never posted a single post on any forum here.
A few less than 1100 have posted at least once.
Of that 1100, over 440 have only posted 2 times or less.
315 have reached "Grumbler" status by posting 20 times or more.
The number drops to 260 for those who have posted over 30 times.
Those last figures include all those Grumblers who have posted from 30 times all the way to over 7000 times.
So that means that, at most, 260 +/- are regularly constributing to the Grumble to one degree or another.
So all of the information, all of the answers posted and most of the questions, and all of the poll responses can be attributed to a bit over 10% of the total registrations on the Grumble.
I find it interesting that most of the people who have registered on the Grumble aren't responding to any problems, questions, polls, and aren't contributing any kind of opinion or experience at all to any of the forums! How can people in the framing business visit a framing forum and read all the varied posts without the least urge to post their feelings or an answer to a question?? I couldn't just sit there in front of my computer reading all these bits of information and problems without joining in to help someone or to post my experiences in my life and business.
The only unknown that I wonder about is how many of these over 2200 members haven't returned to the Grumble at all since they registered??
