I've purchased a stretching machine for canvases. I'm interested in purchasing a pneumatic stapler to use with this machine. Does anyone have any information or owns one that they would recommend? Thanks for any input you might have.

Senco!

Bill Ward just recommended this one to me. The Tradesman #8480k. I googled it and found one right away. They are inexpensive, versatile and seen to handle a pretty good assortment of fasteners.
Haven't used one but this could be a starter till you find out exactly which features you need on a high-end model.

I use an upholstry (sp?) air staple gun. I was looking at a senco but got a great deal on a knock off on ebay. It shoots 20 guage staples which are fine enough to not catch the fabric threads but strong enough to hold. Because it does not have a trigger nose guard I can use it to shoot staples to hold my packages into the frame. I just hold the nose 0.25 - 0.5" away from the wood and squeeze the trigger. After one or two staples it is easy to see how far the staples are penetrating. Pretty versatile tool for me.
