my old gun died. any suggestions on where to get a new one? just bought a bunch of 1/2" crown, 3/8" length staples.

just bought the senco sfw09 from lowes. oddly, or laughably, lowes does not carry staples for this gun. got them from a local dealer.

My 18 ga brad nailer is a basic Senco, and it has been very reliable.
I noticed an ad in PFM for a Bostitch canvas stretching stapler sold by Active Sales. Anyone have any experience with that one?

I love my Porter Cable US58. Currently $80 on Amazon with free shipping-- can't go wrong. (Wish I bought it for that price!!)

I would only go Senco.
The other day I stapled my hand, yes really, and the 5/8" staple went in clean and no pain.

I used a Bostich for years and when it finally died I replaced it with a Paslode which was the most useless piece of carp I ever bought. I am now on my second Bostich which will probably see out my framing career.

I have a Fasco (the one with the long pointy nose) that I bought new. I've only been using it for about 7 months, but every time I use it I experience a lot of misfires! I'd guess that it misfires about every 4 or 5 firings!
Now I have only used Duo-Fast staples, and maybe that's the problem. However I am using a staple size that the gun is suppose to accept. I'm also using it within the acceptable pressure range.

Maybe others have had a better experience with this brand!
