:eek: Hope I posted this in the right place but I wanted the most people possible to see it! I got a private message from someone "Rebecca2" who is banned asking me how it's going. I have no idea who this is and now I've got a king size case of the my skin is crawling creeps! :vomit: I also opened the automated email that comes when someone on the Grumble sends you a private message.:faintthud: :help: Please tell me it isn't terminal...

she wrote to me too. I just asked her if she is a framer and where she is located, - thought it was kind of strange seeing as I haven't posted much lately.

I did it all through the private messaging here though - so if she's banned - she's still getting our emails.

Was there some sort of problem with this person? I haven't been keeping up very much.
 
Gee, and here I thought I was someone special, only to find out everyone else got the "hi, how's it goin', I'm new here" P.M. What a blow to my ego.

I get all my message board alerts on my VZ mail, so I don't worry about it. Verizon's spam filter, in short, doesn't. I get an average of 75 pieces of spam to one piece of actual e-mail on that account. That's why I also use Yahoo, aol and hotmail.
 
On another forum I'm on that uses the same software as the Grumble, there is a limit to how many users you can send a private message to at a time (I think it's 5). I'm not sure if the Grumble is set up with a limit also but if so, Rebecca2 went to an awful lot of effort to send private messages to all those people.
 
Well I'm just so glad that I missed that 'warning' about Rebecca2 - we swapped email addresses - turns out she is 'Rebecca the 2nd' - a PRINCESS no less, who wants to flee her terrible country but cannot take her vast wealth with her..... unless someone allows the money to rest in their account until she is safely out.

For this simple favour, she is willing to give me 10% of her wealth, but man, I couldn't take that - I just wouldn't be able to sleep.

I'll just let her reimburse me her air fare when I pick her up from Heathrow tonight.
 
I've got one, says she is new here and wants to Know how it's going... how's what going?. Any ideas?.
