Sorry for the double post but I can't figure out how to edit the first one.
Note: I had said earlier that the nailer had not been used since 2003. Seeing we didn't move to that space till 2005 the math just didn't work.
This machine had a retail price of $5500.00 when new and no doubt worth every penny. Pistorius is to professional framing what Rolls Royce is to automobiles. But then again...if you're looking at this you most likely already know that.
Its been sitting unused for several years but I have no doubt it still works. (We framed almost exclusively with Neilsen metal mouldings so we had little need for a v-nailer. I purchased it with our Pistorius saw as a package deal thinking we may switch to wood but that never happened...
It worked flawlessly last time it was used back in 2006.
Cosmetically it looks very good. There's some minor surface rust/oxidation. A little bit of steel wool and some elbow grease, she'd look great. These as you probably know last forever and are pretty maintenance free. I also have 3 unopened boxes of Pistorius brand, medium v-nails (15,000 nails) plus 3 partial boxes, so say another 9,000 nails...which I'll gladly include with the Pistorius. (Nails sell at 31.00 per box of 5000 when purchased from ultramitre - so basically I'm throwing in $150.00 worth of nails, more than enough to get you through the learning curve!)
I'm in Milwaukee and would gladly consider delivering at no charge within 75 miles.
I'd like to get $750.00...but make me an offer! I would also be happy to ship on a pallet.
I can work with a local freight broker who quoted me $223.00 from Milwaukee to Newark NJ.
