Yesterday i redid my work area cause it was a big mess and i removed the table that works as the infeed to my pistorius (the left side)....i want to make a knew infeed but something that would have legs but foldable to be able to remove for space.....
any ideas????

Thanx....

Sams Club has very sturdy folding leg tables that could be used. The leg height is adjustable but you also might need to add something like metal conduit to them to get the exact height. The tables come in various lengths and depths.

I used roller supports, then took them apart and bolted them on to heavy shelf brackets.

I have found if you have a flat surface for an infeed table, it will get covered and then not be removable. Nothing can rest on the roller supports.

With a little work, you can have the best of both worlds. Here is the left table I built for my saw.

These have a 600 pound load limit (each) and go for $22.49 for a pack of 4. There are cheaper available but I wanted them to be heavy duty.

This table is open on one side to allow me slide the trash bin out easily.

This setup can be modified easily to be foldable. Think of the folding book self.

Build the legs using hinges so the legs can fold shut like the bookshelf above. Build a sturdy top with a 2x4 edge all around sized so that the top will sit on top of the legs when they are folded out. The legs will be inside the top.

When you are done using it, removed the top and fold up the legs.

This setup can be very sturdy and support a lot of weight. You can layout many sticks of moulding in prep for cutting.
