Anybody have any tips on how to cover up the pink gesso Roma uses on a lot of it's frames? (I assume it's gesso, it's whatever they use between the finish and the wood) Even with fresh blades, I still get a little chip out on the backs of some frames and the pink gesso is pretty unsightly. The frames it's the worst on are the silver ones, as I don't really have any markers to cover it up. I have silver paint pens, but I need more of an imperial silver.

I think I need to just go buy a humongous set of acrylic paints, seems like they can fix just about anything.

I literally just used some to "fix" my store carpet. I was stretching an almost-dry painting for display in the gallery, and sure enough one of the thick flowers had a pocket of red oil paint which got on the floor by about an inch. ...with no chance of getting it up, I just painted over it and it's "passable". :)

About as universal as duct tape. :D

Don't rule out the lowly lead pencil. A little sanding, a little penciling, a little smearing with a damp fingertip will often do the trick.

I don't know what (if?) the moulding mfgs. are thinking with the color choice for gesso, almost always the worst color for the frame and the pink may be the worst! I used Prismacolor markers work pretty good but for the silver and gold frames I liked mixing Rub and Buff to get the exact color.
