I'm going to try to post these pics without the help of a teenager. We'll see how it goes:

I'll try to post some more later / shop area.

Had our first framing order today. She paid in full in advance, not even a blink of the eye!

Our adds come out in the paper later this week.

Congratulations, jPaul!!

I particularly like the mirrors on the customer counter. I have seen them done in various ways but your setup is easy to see and it is out of the way of the work area on the counter.

Nice job!!

Thanks for the compliments/encouragement.

Eric, meet Senior Frog

I knew I wanted grayed earth tones and when I saw the frog I knew he was my store mascot and official greeter. It is his job to hand out business cards and hold any special event fliers.

I think I am going to put a motion sensor / player in him so when people walk by, he'll say in his best frog voice "frame it, frame it, frame it"

What a fantastic presentation! Everything seems to flow so well and blends nicely with your great scheme colors. You can be mighty proud of yourselves.

Much, much success!

I'm going to bulldoze my store down and start over. Totally cool store, good job & congratulations.

Very nice looking shop! Did you do the painted frames? How big is the mirror? Got any picturs of your workroom and storage area? Bet they look nice too.

John ! ! ! !

Stuningly gorgeous! !

Well done!!

I remember you said you were a cabinet contractor so I did have high expectations but you've far exceeded them. Bravo and all the luck is the world. Looks like you're doing everything to make sure it comes your way. You get a big hug if you're going to Atlanta.

Congratulations.

Pam

Great looking shop, jpaul! Fine job! Wishing you much success.

Rick the mirror is 30x40 It is approx. 30degree angle. A 45degree angle is best, make art looks just like is is hanging on wall, but that would have stuck out to far (30") Set out 24" is a happy compromise. When you are standing at the end of the counter you are 8 ft. away and it gives a good visual of what it will look like. No need for you or customer to stand on tippy toes.

I will be posting some shop pictures soon and will probably put some info on the shop tips forumn regarding sizes materials and so forth if anybody is interested. You might notice the three tier mat rack I built in the background of the "Senior Frog" picture. Built that in less than 45mins. including stain and finish.

The painted frames are by world ranked artist that we have the honor of representing. He builds and paints his frames to go with his work. Notice how the image continues onto some of the frames.

Great job, jPaul. Your gallery looks fantastic.
I would love to see pictures of your work area. We're getting ready to open our gallery and frame shop on September 11th and are in the process of painting the gallery, etc. and deciding where to put the equipment in the workshop so your pics would really be appreciated. Thanks!
