I don't like them, but I have a high dollar job that I'm framing and the customer wants a picture light.
She says that there is an outlet in place behind where it will be hung, so I guess that's a positive.
It's a LJ antique copper finish frame and most of the lights come in brass or nickel.
Hardly anyone stocks the lights anymore, even the local LJ warehouse has to get them from Chicago and Valley has them in California (I'm in Phoenix).
Home Depot and Lowes has them and I haven't checked them out yet. If I get one there it's easy to return if I have to.
Also there are lots of them available online but I don't want to order and then have to send it back.
House of Troy?.
Any suggestions? :popc:

Most electrical supply houses and lamp stores can order directly from House of Troy. I use to buy from them directly but don't do enough in picture lights to order from them anymore. I usually just refer my customer to the local electrical shops now if they need a special finish not available from United as stock.

United can special order, but then you have to deal with the problem if the finish isn't what you expected.

Thanks for the replies! I think I may have found one a Lowes that might work.
At least I can take it right back if it doesn't.

It is always worth pointing out to the client who requests a light attached tot he frame that the dangers that light presents are amplified by proximity. A light too close can lead not only to fading, but also to uneven fading.
