Anyone else notice a surge in pick-ups of long-finished orders just before Christmas? No matter how many reminders you send, some people just don't come in until they are good and ready. I've noticed an uptick in the straggler pick-ups lately, though. Had one 4-piece order picked up today that has been ready for seven months. Better late than never, that's for sure. I guess we serve as a surrogate gift-hiding closet.

Well...that means I can still hope. Have one sitting here since August, only 50% deposit paid. I want the balance!!!!!!! NOW!

We get that this time of year, but it's because alot of the orders are for out-of-towners who open up their cottages for Christmas.

I had one customer leave a job nine months ago and finally came back with a baby carriage and a new baby girl. She apologized for the long delay but she was busy with a difficult pregnancy.
But here is the rub. She paid for it and left it here cause she had no way of carrying it back home. It still sits here all wrapped up and that was a couple of months ago. dang!

That reminds me I still have to pick up my watch from the watch repair guy I left it with a few months ago.

Sounds like she already delivered...............
