Do you offer this service?
Is it a lucrative service for you?
Do you do it in-house or third party the work?
What is the average number of Photo Restoration jobs in your shop per month?

Thanks for the information.

Hi Angela! Yea I offer it. It's hit or miss. I make a few dollars here and a few dollars there. It's all in what you put into it. Becuase it's only one small segment of my business I don't push it much. I have a friend and photo restoration and digital graphics is all she does and she stays busy at it. Unlike me she advertises it often and hard.

I do the work and print myself. I do maybe 2 - 4 a month average. Some months 0 and some months 10.

Good luck.

We offer it here in ouw new location as well as our old location. I was able to do the restoration and print it out and had made some very good money at it. I have had a few jobs that ran over $150 just for the restoration plus the prints.
We do all the work inhouse.
Just 2 weeks ago I did a simple job that the print was 11x36 and did not need much restoration on it and the sell price was $75.

Prior to hooking up with Custom Digital I would send anyone with photo restoration work to a local camera store that offered the service and told them to bring them back and we could talk framing.

I'd never see them again.

Now that I use the Custom Digital it never leaves my shop and I've picked up a fair amount of framing which is what I was after in the first place. The digital restoration part doesn't make a lot of money by itself but the kept frame jobs make it worth the small amount of effort.
