Ron,
I saw your reply on the other forum. I really did follow the original instructions to the letter. The address looked really wierd, though..about 4 lines of incomprehensible stuff, plus there were spaces in odd places. I messed with this for a long time and couln't get it to work at all, then finally closed the whole thing out and started over. When I went back and opened the picture again, it had a different address! That one did work, and posted a tiny picture to the grumble...too small to read all the smaller signs in the background (I had chosen the "small" option in resize). I tried at that point to delete the picture from MSN, re-upload it in its original size, and repost...same thing! Then I remembered that some of the Grumblers prefer links instead of the actual picture because it takes less time to load(?) so I changed it from

This probably has nothing to do with you're problem, but I will mention it anyway.

I find that if I copy and paste code (for images or text) from the Grumble, When I paste it, this process adds spaces to the codes which I have to remove before it will work.

It may have to do with an auto correct feature in my computer's configuration, but I have not taken the time to try to figure this one out yet.

Leslie, I believe it may have something to do with the dashes in your image file name. I believe those are "illegal" characters in a file name, so I'll experiment and let you know.

I was also unable post either the image or a link to the image.

Less, I also had extraneous spaces added to Leslie's image URL. When I edited them out, the just reappeared.

These are two good examples of why we don't see more photos on The Grumble. It's enough to drive a geek to drink.

Hi Ron,
I do a post preview to see if the code is working. If it does not, and I find the extra spaces, I remove them, and it works fine for me. I'll test it again!

Also, I find that Windows automatically places a dash when I put a space in a file name. I have not tried one of these files for a post yet. Maybe you need to just put the space in there and not the dash when filling out the code.

Testing 1-2
