Do I need to treat photographs before framing them? My mats are very deep museum mats, but I think I recall that the photos should be treated with some kind of product. Also, what product is everyone finding to be the best for texuring/texturizing prints. I don't want that "glistening" look so frequently seen, but a matte or barely glossy, natural look. AND finally, what sources do you prefer for prints. Currently I use Lieberman's and am not particularly impressed with them. Shipping is slow and so is the website. I really would like to find a place to search by size requirements.
Thanks for any help. I'm an new business and need all the support I can get.

Photographs do not need any kind of treatment, especially if they are going to be properly framed using museum mats and glass. Treating them can actually harm them. Proper framing is all that's required to protect a photograph. Also, unless they are your own photos and prints, you should never alter a customers art using anything that can not be reversed.
