Anyone have a good source for a cylindrical pedestal for a customer's contemporary metal sculpture? She prefers something other than acrylic.

did ya Google "Sculpture Pedestals" yet Rick?

Small Corp builds custom museum pedestals.

www.vandykes.com Ok they are architectural columns,bases....But I could see some really cool sculpture possibilities there, with a little bit of work. L.

oldhouseparts.com Tom'll have old columns that would work great! Bannister posts, newel posts, probably granite hitching posts and old oak beams!

depends on how much $$ she is willing to spend. My husband is a cabinetmaker, he often builds custom pedestals for sculptures. If you have a phot of the sculpture, post it here. Might be able to work something up.

Oh,BTW...If you ever want arts and crafts style(think stickley-ish) or country try www.vandykestaxidermy.com yes,same company..different catalog! L.
