Anyone know of a database of paper conservators, by location?

A customer had significant water damage to a sold-out rare print worth $1300 and is looking to have it flattened and mold removed, or at least a quote for the work.

Thanks!

Thanks all! Forwarded all this info to the customer!

Curiosity is killing me, what is the kind of print in question?

John Barber print. He's a mostly nautical artist and is pretty popular in my region, and his rare prints sell legitimately for over $1k.

I was thinking more the method of printmaking. Offset litho? Etching?
Might save you customers some time by eliminating those pieces that cannot be treated...like offsets.

It's a litho. The issue is waviness and mold. Well beyond my expertise, so I figure its best for them to get a quote from a professional, or find out if its even possible.

Luckily, we happen to have this rare print recently available to us, so I showed her how hers had faded, so it may end up that she might prefer a brand new one. We'll see what the conservators tell her, and what the insurance allows her.
