Paintings and back boards

Northframer asked about lining paintings. That's not really my area, so I'm looking around for an article or something on the subject that I can link to here. But meanwhile, here's one on the general care of paintings. One interesting part of the article is it's description of backing boards, and why vent holes aren't recommended.
