I'm considering the Inmes IM-4P underpinner from framingsupplies.com. Would someone with experience on this machine weigh in with your pro/con thoughts?

I don't know how similar it is to the 5P, but I would not buy another 5P. It has a lot of great features, but doesn't work very well on hard woods. Pine, poplar and basswood (though two are technically "hardwood") is does fine on. But to join Maple, Oak and Ash you have to crank the pressure up way beyond their recommendation to get even a 12mm nail in, and as a result it's very difficult to get a good looking joint.

So you can compare, the 5P has separate pressure settings for the nailing head, front clamp and top clamp. It clamps and holds the corner and then you put the nails in where and when you want. It has an automatic height adjusting two top clamp system. And a tilting table that allows you to work from the inside or outside of the frame.
